Jamie + Sean,Engagement Session-Capitola CA

Jamie and Sean both live in Arizona and as you can imagine planning a wedding in another state is not without it's challenges. Jamie spent many summers here in Santa Cruz and has family here- Choosing Santa Cruz as their destination location for their wedding was something that they both wanted.

Since she was out of state, we did most of our communication through emails and phone calls . Jamie was so personable and sweet- i knew it would be just the right fit! When we finally had a chance to meet in person for our engagement session- they were both everything I thought they would be! We choose Capitola for their session- and had such a great time! I am super excited to be able to share in this journey with the both of them! enjoy!

Laura + Dustin, Engagement Session - Santa Cruz

I am so excited to be working with Dustin and Laura and cant wait for their upcoming Santa Cruz Wedding!! It was a pleasure to get to know them both better as a couple during our engagement session. They are super sweet,easygoing and a really fun couple to be around AND that just adore each other!!! I love that they choose their property as a location for their engagement session. A beautiful spot that obviously is a special place for the both of them.

Kat & Matthew's Engagement Session, Aptos CA

Kat and Matthew 's engagement session took place at Nisene Marks Park. A perfect location for them since, they both enjoy the outdoors and it is one of their favorite hiking spots! It is always fun to get to know couples a little bit better during our engagement sessions and watching their personalities unfold. Kat and Matt adore each other and are both super playful with one another- I cant wait for their wedding day!!

Twist First Friday Fashion Show

I recently attended and photographed Downtown's Twist Stores First Friday's Fashion Show . The fashion show was inspired by the Artwork of Regina Nalbandian super great work- I love it! Thanks to all the participants that made it happen- it was a fun event and a great turn out!

Founder and Ceo of Lightfoot Industries, Carmen Kubas had always dreamed of opening a vocational training restaurant. With over 20 years of experience in education and restaurant management Carmen provides our Santa Cruz community with a sustainable vocational training program for at- risk -teens.

Lightfoot industries promotes social ,environmental and fiscal responsibility through their curriculum where students receive high school accredited course work, project based learning and participate in seminars.

I recently had an opportunity to photograph one of their supper club dinners (ok, yes my husband is creating some pretty magical food with them), yum!! I was blown away by the students outstanding service skills and dedication and care in creating a perfect dining experience all the way around for their customers. They are extremely hardworking and do so with a smile!!
