I LOVE all things vintage inspired, so when I heard that Saffron and Genevieve was having a wedding trunk sale that was vintage-inspired - I was happy to attend! Local business owner, Colleen Hickey of Saffron and Genevieve states "it all started with a customer who had beautiful vintage linen tablecloths and napkins who was ready to let them go". As a result, Colleen was inspired to create the trunk show and immediately thought of two friends whom make such wonderful products for weddings that would be a great addition to the event.
The trunk sale featured Katie Baker's vintage linen tablecloths and her beautifully crafted ring pillows that are incredible... they even included vintage buttons- which I am a avid collector of.. I have jars of them! She uses vintage fabrics to also make great money bags as well!
The Vintage cake toppers displayed had such great detail- I wish I had one when I got married! A very unique and hard to find item for sure!
Stacey Costello of Stacey Costello Design was showcasing her amazing one-of -a kind ring boxes and treasures made with all vintage trim. These are truly personal and have such amazing detail, some even included beading from vintage wedding veils. These also make great gifts for your bridal party.
If you have never been to Saffron and Genevieve or it has been a while, I suggest a visit to this local gem! Their collection is very eclectic and features many amazing artists and other unique items that you are bound to cherish.
