John + Janette's Engagement Session

John and Janette are a super fun couple and it was really great to get to know them both better during our engagement photography session. Super mellow...funny and they are both into all things old and vintage.. super cool- because i too love it. Definitely a bonus to find an old truck at our location..I think they were just as excited as I was!!

I can not express enough how much I prefer to do engagement sessions prior to any couples big day. It gives us all a chance to work together and get to know each other better so that on the big day everything flows together effortlessly! I usually do not really put any time limit on the sessions and I love to choose locations that either have specific meaning to you or tells a little something about the two of you.

Matt + Elaine's Engagement Session

Elaine and Matt both live in So. Cal. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive to work with them since, Elaine works in the film industry. I was a little intimidated- I got over quick though! I had an instant connection from our first conversation and I knew I wanted to work with them both of  their "big day"!

I was super excited when Elaine mentioned doing a Bonnie + Clyde- themed- photo engagement session!! I loved the idea and thought my hubby's car would make a nice prop and addition to to the shoot and would add some character! The location is a private apple orchard and was perfect! 

I had a blast photographing Elaine and Matt's Engagement session, It was a lot of fun. They were very comfortable in front of the camera and did such a fantastic job! Thanks guys! enjoy the pics
